Hazardous chemicals refer to highly toxic chemicals and other chemicals that are toxic, corrosive, explosive, flammable, combustion-supporting and harmful to human body, facilities and environment.

High-efficiency water-reducing agents for concrete mainly include naphthalene series, melamine series and water-reducing agents compounded from them, of which naphthalene series is the main, accounting for 67%. Naphthalene series and melamine series are not hazardous chemicals. Therefore, concrete superplasticizer does not belong to the category of dangerous chemicals.

The admixture that can greatly reduce the mixing water volume under the condition that the slump of concrete is basically the same is called high-efficiency water-reducing agent.

The water-reducing rate of the high-efficiency water-reducing agent can reach more than 20%. It is mainly composed of naphthalene series, melamine series and water-reducing agents compounded from them, of which naphthalene series is the main, accounting for 67%. Especially in China, most of the superplasticizers are naphthalene series superplasticizers with naphthalene as the main raw material. Naphthalene series superplasticizer can be divided into high concentration products (Na2SO4 content<3%), medium concentration products (Na2SO4 content 3%~10%) and low concentration products (Na2SO4 content>10%) according to the content of Na2SO4 in its products. Most naphthalene series superplasticizer synthesis plants have the ability to control the content of Na2SO4 below 3%, and some advanced enterprises can even control it below 0.4%.

Scope of application:

It is applicable to precast and cast-in-place reinforced concrete in various industrial and civil buildings, water conservancy, transportation, ports, municipal and other projects.

It is applicable to high-strength, ultra-high-strength and medium-strength concrete, as well as concrete requiring early strength, moderate frost resistance and high fluidity.

Prefabricated concrete components suitable for steam curing process.

It is suitable for making water-reducing and reinforcing components (i.e. masterbatch) of various composite admixtures.

Does not belong to. Hazardous chemicals are explosive materials. However, general concrete superplasticizer has no explosive and explosive components, so concrete superplasticizer does not belong to dangerous chemicals.
