1. The effect of cement modification is affected by admixtures
The previous double-layer viewpoint can well explain the plasticizing effect of adding water reducers to concrete. For those concretes mixed with various concrete additives, although the amount of cement used has been reduced to a certain extent, the amount of water reducer added is twice that of ordinary concrete. This part of the research should attract the attention of relevant personnel. In addition, in some ultra-high-strength concretes, the strength and strength change trend of concrete prepared with different superplasticizers are quite different. The reason for this phenomenon should be closely related to the effect of surfactants on cement hydration. The high-flow concrete with a water-cement ratio mixed with plasticizers will show a “plate” phenomenon ten minutes after mixing, that is, after the concrete collapses, it will soon show a false setting phenomenon if it is not stirred, and the lower concrete is relatively hard. However, this phenomenon is not obvious in ordinary concrete mixtures without plasticizers. How to avoid and explain this problem is worth discussing.
2. The adaptability of cement is affected by admixtures
In the actual construction process, such a problem often occurs, that is, under the same mix ratio, admixture dosage and construction conditions, the type and batch of cement or admixtures change, resulting in a large difference in the fluidity and slump of the configured concrete. The main reason for this phenomenon is that factors such as cement mineral composition, conditioned gypsum and cement fineness lead to rapid setting during concrete mixing. Therefore, a full study of the problem of cement adaptability is conducive to the reasonable mastery of the use method and dosage of admixtures.
3. The influence of the use environment on the effect of admixtures
For those concretes with differential plasticizers, when the temperature of the environment is suitable, the slump and slump loss of the concrete are significantly better than those obtained under high temperature and dry conditions, but if in winter, the concrete does not have a large difference, which will affect the construction process to a certain extent.
